Join us for a captivating end-of-the-year dance performance of The Snow Queen, presented by the Warwick Center for the Performing Arts. This enchanting show will feature stunning choreography from our contemporary, improvisation/choreography, tap, jazz, jazz funk, and Irish Step Dance classes.
Held at the Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center on June 15th, there will be two performances:
2:00 PM Show: Showcasing all students from our non-ballet classes.
7:00 PM Show: Featuring our older students from those classes.
Based on Hans Christian Andersen's timeless fairy tale, The Snow Queen follows the journey of a young girl named Gerda as she sets out to rescue her best friend, Kai, from the icy clutches of the Snow Queen. As Gerda travels through magical realms, she encounters an array of captivating characters, each brought to life through dynamic dance performances. Our show is uniquely crafted to flow seamlessly, transitioning effortlessly between dances while keeping the storyline central and engaging.
